  1. My favorite is an architect. I love how you can incorporate alternative energy into a building, like that one skyscraper with wind turbines between each level shown earlier in the blog. Plus, I love math and art so this is the perfect career for me.

  2. my favorite would have to be a driller because it seems like an easy enough job that i can do and you get to handle explosives at times.

  3. Our favorite was Energy Upgrade Specialist because it's a lot more hands-on than most of the other jobs we found, and it pays 55,000-75,000 annually which is plenty to live off of. It was also a job available in San Francisco, CA, and that is one of my favorite places ever!!

Our favorite career would have to be the Director of Wind Development. You can get paid up to 170,000 dollars for only being the over seer of the wind development. Management would be easy and at the end of everyday you would be going home with a ton of money. This seems like the dream job to us.

  5. My favorite was the Geothermal Power Plant Structural Engineer. The pay isn't fantastic, but it is enough to support the lifestyle that i chose to have. The annual salary is $67,000-$80,000. Also, this job is something that i would enjoy. No matter where i go to school, i will get some king of engineering degree. This job seems to be right down my alley.

The job we found the most interesting out of the 10 jobs we researched was the Microbial and Physiological Ecologist. You would work with many different types of algae and plants and strains to increase biofuel formation. You could work in groups and collaborate with other people and theorize. It would be a challenge but we'd learn a lot. It promotes the use of algae and clean air, which we previously talked about.

  15. My favorite would have to be the air emissions one. You get good pay, and its only a little bit of secondary schooling. Also i think it would be great to design the next car that everyone wants and saves the planet with its non emissions.

Our favorite job is the wind turbine engineer which is a job were you work on the wind turbine that are high up which if you can deal with heights it is a great job that pays well too even though fluency in spanish is a plus.

  17. My favorite career in alternative energy would be a nuclear physicist. while you would need lots of schooling, i think it would be really interesting in experimenting and learning about nuclear power, because it is probably our future as an energy source

mine would have to be Wind Turbine Technician because it is very high up and its like a fireman's job in the sence of you go to work but don't have to work everyday and it pays about 36000 yearly so that is good enough for me and it is a hands on working job.

  19. Being a nuclear physicist would be the most beneficial because if you were a dad and your kid brought you to school for career day someone would be all like "I'm a post man" and then I'd say "yeah well I'm a nuclear physicist, GET ON MY LEVEL!" it would take 15 years of schooling/training however the juice would be worth the squeeze because you'd be at the top tier of your career and no one would really be ahead of you position wise. And in addition to all said the pay is ridiculously high.

  20. Well it was hard to decide one but I think my favorite was environmental engineer because in the top 100 best jobs in US it was the 5th and also we can make around $85000.

  21. I thought that a nuclear physicist would be cool because it pays a lot, but it is very dangerous. Something like a solar electric engineer would be pretty cool.
