Obviously the people living in Nevada have an issue with Nuclear disposal in their state. If they were trying to dispose of Nuclear Waste in our state we'd have issues too, however, it needs to be disposed of somehow. There is clearly time to think of a better, more appropriate place to dispose of Nuclear Waste, and therefore i do not think we should dump our waste in the Yucca Mountains. If there was no time whatsoever to find an alternative option, then yes, the Yucca Mountains would be our best option, and Nevada would have to deal with it.
personally i agree with the fact that people in Nevada would have a proboly with it but also if we disposed of it in michigan we would also have a problem. however there is no place we can dispose of nuclear waste without any negatives. personally i agree with disposing the nucler waste in the Yucca Mountains and we should still find other places to dispose of this waste also

I think that its a great idea to store nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain. The casks are super concealed with small posibilites of leaking, and even though Nevada doesn't agree, they've done so many tests to prove Nevada residents wrong.
i think that the people in Nevada are over reacting to having the waste dumped in the Yucca mt. chances are if a casks does fail the leak or spill will be so far away from an population center that the radiation would never come close to harming anyone.
I understand the people in Nevadas opposition to having the nuclear waste in Yucca Mountain, but I think they need to see the thought and reason for why this area was considered in the first place. It is in a location that is not widely populated, because Las Vegas is 100 miles from the location. The risk will always be there no matter where the waste is on earth. If they can find another place to store the waste that is not anywhere around people, and in a stable area, I think that would be a good solution and everyone could mainly end up happy.
I think the nuclear waste shouldn't have to be stuck with anyone. Instead, I believe that we should extract what we can use from it and then place it in subduction zone where it would be carry the fuel into the Earth's mantel.
I think nuclear disposal is a huge problem we have today, and Yucca Mountain is our answer!!! Nevada is a desert and no one really lives there anyways so why not make use of it. It is a great location to get rid of radioactivity and solves all of our problems.
I think it's a good idea to dump it there, if anything does seem to happen it's far enough away from everyone that it wouldn't harm them and the problem could be fixed before any serious damage were to happen.
I think that we should just launch it all into space. that way no one has to worry about the negative effects of nuclear waste, and the whole debate will be settled
I think Nevada should suck it up and deal with the waste in their state. Yucca mountain is a great place for the waste and it should go there. If they are going to continue to cry we should just send the waste into space, that way we wont have to deal with it anymore.
Yucca Mountain is perfect for the nuclear waste and the people of Nevada should stop being selfish and let us use their land. We have dropped nuclear bombs in Nevada, so they could probably handle a little nuclear waste.
Anthony Stickle I think that they should just have to deal with it. if it was them getting the energy and they had to dumb it in a different place in a different state they would not give a flying hoot. so they should just take it because the govt. is letting them be a part of the us.

I believe that Yucca Mountain would be a very good place to dispose our nuclear wastes. We are in desperate need of somewhere like this. Sure, people have some problems with this; but like the transportation fear people had, it has been proved wrong.
i think we should take all of our waste and dump them in reinforced steel wombs and put them in underground catacombs sealed to never see the light of day again. oooor dump them deep into the ocean after we have a better understanding of the possible repercussions.
I think that disposing it at Yucca Mountain is one of our best choices and the people there should deal with it. Yucca Mountain is hundreds of miles away from civilization anyways so why does it matter and the waste is hundreds of feet under ground in casks that are nearly indestructible.
I think the people in Nevada need to realize that the issue with storing nuclear waste somewhere is not going to make everyone happy. However, this shouldn't be a big deal anyways to people in Nevada. The Yucca Mountains are miles away from civilization and can't being any harm to them anyways. We could try different ways then just disposing it at Yucca Mountians but this is still one of our best options.
Asier Atienza I think is a good idea to store them in a safe place, not in Yucca Mountain or other natural places because at the end the waste destroy them, killing all the life
My thoughts on nuclear disposal is that nuclear power is a very useful power source but the waste is something that we must find a way to store it or destroy it without any major repercussions. My thoughts on Yucca Mountain is that it is a plausible way to store the nuclear waste in an area that is not populated.
I think that the Yucca mountain idea is okay but why not shoot it into space. i know it would be expensive but after a while, wouldn't burring it get really dangerous?
I think it is a smart idea for now but when we fill it to the top where will we put it that is why we need to start using other alternative energy now so we don't have to worry about those problems in the future.
