I feel that Obama is going in the right direction in two ways. He is creating jobs by okaying these plants and also supporting alternative energy by having this plants make batteries or cars and other objects.
I think the promotion of battery run cars in Michigan is a good idea. Hopefully this will stimulate the economy and make people buy more automotive parts and batteries from America instead of foreign countries. The projects created to make 63,000 jobs for people which could really help Michigan.
I think it's great that Obama is promoting electric cars and creating jobs for people in the u.s.. The new battery plants will help the economy and in the future when we use more alternative energy we can convert it into electrical energy to power our cars instead of fossil fuels.
I think this is a wonderful idea. It is estimated to create 63,000 jobs for Michigan citizens, and it is also a great alternative energy source. In 25 30 years all of the cars should be electric like these, and Michigan would benefit from this.
I believe president Obama is making a smart move by bringing these jobs to Michigan because this will provide us with around 63,000 jobs which will help to stimulate our economy
Obama is making our state better Economically . He is creating jobs and helping save our resources. The new battery plant will help our state tons and better us.
wow for once he did something half way decent. making American made products always last longer than the imported stuff. it is also good that this plant is in Michigan because granholm cant seem to find a way to create any jobs. so leave it to the man
personally i think this idea obama has is ganna hopefully be a success for America. I like how the plant is in michigan and they are thinking about putting a second one in michigan also. This will create more jobs across America and if its a success hopefully we can decress the unemployment rate to 3-5%.

I think it's good that Obama is urging the use of electric cars. The fact that he wants cars to be built in America then shipped to other countries is a great thing and is showing that our leaders are truly taking a step in the right direction.
The statement from President Obama is a good thing because it is 1 showing support for alternative energy, 2 he is supportting American made goods, and 3 lastly he is supportting new job growth in a recession which is definately a positive.
Obama is going in the right direction by promoting the American Auto-Industry, but I believe that electric cars still have a long way to go before they will be as popular as any other car. However, switching to electric cars will still not solve the problem of polution/emissions simply because of how the electricity is made(fossil fuels or oil).
I feel like Obama has the right intentions with opening up this battery plant. It will create a lot of jobs plus will increase the amount of hybrid and electric cars which will help the environment.
this is a good step for america because one of the main problems of alternative energy cars is with the productivity of the car batteries such as in the chevy "Volt"
